HELLO EVERYONE!!!!
First week with in person MTC and I love it love it love it!!! I wasn't gonna send an email this week because MTC stuff is kinda all the same but then my parents said I had to so here we are!!
Everyone here is just so kind and fun and I've made so many new friends!!! I love my district so much and the girls are probably the funniest people I have ever met. Everyday we have so much fun together and we have so many inside jokes that at this point everything is funny. I'm just super grateful to have a district that doesn't take things too seriously but also invites the spirit in such powerful ways!!!
The food here is literally awful, like I've never felt so sick, but you know that's ok. I just thought I'd bring it back down to earth for a second because it's not all sunshine and rainbows, like the first 2 days my stomach hurt sooooo bad. But we've persevered and now I feel better so yay!!!
Anyways the spirit is so strong here. It's just so cute to see so many people who love Jesus so much that they are leaving so much of their lives behind to serve him. The testimonies here are powerful and I've learned so much about my savior just in the short week that I've been here. Like I really do love it here and I'm genuinely so happy!!!
Guysssss I got to go to chior practice and we get to perform in our devotional on Tuesday and I'm so so soooo excited!!!! I just get to sing my little heart out and it makes me so happy that I'm finally fulfilling my dreams of being a singer!!!!
I'm gonna wrap it up now but basically days here are long and I'm exhausted at the end of the day but I would not have it any other way. I can feel my testimony growing and I just want everyone to know that our savior really does love us. He knows us and he knows our hearts. And when we let him in he can take us further then we could ever imagine. We had a devotional last night about the atonement and at the end all 1700 of us sang Gethsemane while a video about Christ played and I SOBBEB!!!! It was like heavenly father hit the zap button for the spirit because it was so powerful. I'm just so thankful for my savior and his sacfrice and what it means for me and for all of us.
In preach my gospel there is a part that reads "Although we are imperfect and may fall short again, there is more grace, mercy, and love in Jesus Christ than there is failure, flaw, or sin in us" I love that quote because it is so true. Christ is willing and so ready to welcome us with open arms and His love outnumbers our mistakes.
In D&C 93:12-13 we read about going from grace to grace all throughout life. Christ's grace is strength given through love, mercy, and patience. When we go from grace to grace, we learn to have faith in our savior and we are filled with his love!!
LOVE YOU GUYS
