God is SO good!

Holy cow!!!! Hi!!! So sorry its been so long but now you all get a super exciting update which is so awesome!!!

First, I hit 9 months last week #yay!!!! Its actually so crazy, I have no clue where the time has gone. These past 9 months have been so rewarding and I am so excited to see what else the Lord has in store for me!!! I feel so lucky to be serving here in Kentucky, its literally the weirdest but bestest place ever and I just love it!!

We also had transfers this week and I got called to be an stl and sml which is super awesome!!! So I am now over all of our missions social media which is kinda crazy, so everyone go follow our page!! Its called Friends of Christ!

Not gonna lie though, it was so hard leaving my last area. I gave my heart to that area and those people and the 6 months I spent there are so sacred and so special to me. A couple months ago we were on a call and a missionary said "I wouldn't say that I have completely changed on my mission, but I would say that the Lord has made me more of who I am" and I feel like that's what Lexington was for me. The Lord turly has shown me my potential and I am so grateful for the way He has carefully rearranged me to make me more or who He has created me to be.

Guys God is SO good!! Even though leaving Lexington was hard, I feel so fulfilled with the work I did in that area and I am so excited for this new one. I have absolutely loved being an stl and sml so far and I just am so grateful for it! I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and love the people here and that I get 8 more months to do it!!!

I have a little story I wanted to share about one of my last days in Lexington! We went to visit this family that we previously have had a hard time getting in contact with. We pulled up to their house right when they got home and we were able to talk with them. They invited us in and the mom was like "oh they've been waiting for sister missionaries to stop by" and then we walk in and BAM there is like 10 kids!! They all swarm us and are asking all these questions until their dad had them all sit to listen to us. Well, like the amazing missionaries we are... we had nothing planned #oops! We had not expected them to be home, let alone invite us in. So I start flipping through my Book of Mormon in hopes that something will stick out and when nothing did I asked what they wanted to talk about and they said prayer. So we talk about prayer and read a couple scriptures and what not and they answer all of our questions and it was amazing. But then I just had the feeling that these kids needed to know and to really understand the truth that they are a child of God. So I had them all look at me and repeat after me "I am a child of God." Then I remembered the song, so I taught them all the lyrics to the first verse and corus to I am a Child of God and then we all sang it together 😭 To hear these kids sing this song with smiles on their faces was the sweetest thing ever!!! The spirit in that living room was so strong and it was like the love of God was almost tangible, it was so evident. I've said this before, but I don't think I will ever be able to put into words the feeling you get when the spirit is present like that. It's so amazing and literally my favorite thing in the world.

If you've made this far in this email, 10 point for you!!! But the one thing that I hope you take away from this and understand is that you have a Father in Heaven who loves you with a greater passion than you could ever imagine and you are truly His child and his greatest creation. If you remember that you will feel His power in your life through the Atonement of His son. I know this to be true, because I have felt it and its so awesome!!!

I miss you all so so much and I love you even more! I hope you all have an amazing week 💌💌
